Perhaps you are one of those people who have had to go on a diet, or watch what you are eating, at some point in your life (blessings upon your beautiful soul if you are not!).
At some point in the process, you will encounter some setback.
Sometimes it is huge, like gaining back 10 pounds in the week after a holiday meal celebration because, honestly, what person in their right mind turns down homemade bread stuffing with mashed potatoes and gravy — even if it’s a bit stale, since you’ve been eating it for six consecutive days.
Or maybe it’s just something small, like you slip and devour an extra-large slice of birthday cake at a co-worker’s lunch celebration — so what’s the point of even attempting to eat healthy for dinner because your calories are blown for the day anyway?
Let me say something right off about this … life is too short to not eat homemade bread stuffing with mashed potatoes, and it is especially too short to not eat cake when it is presented to you.
